I worked at GameStop for almost 4 years and was just terminated for entering false customer information on a return. I didnt get their name and address properly. Was wondering if this was a form of misconduct and how should I approach it.

You can apply for unemployment and see what they will say when they get the call from the office. Yes, it can be considered "cause" for termination. Your best bet is to move on and find another job.

you can try to go over your bosses head if you feel you were wrongfully fired and ask for your job back.if this wasnt the first time you made this mistake then it may be just the way it goes.if however you were a good reliable honest employee for 4 years that should count for something and even if you did something wrong you could ask for another chance.sometimes it just doesnt matter,if they want you gone you are gone.file for unemployment.good luck.

If you wanted to you could try applying and let the agancy decide if you qualify for unemployment benefits. You might. If not, it doesn't hurt to try.

If they fire you for misconduct, then chances are slim, but it won't hurt to increase your chances. Good luck.
