I have a Dell Inspiron 4000 ,that I upgraded to windows Vista.now I cant Get sound ,viedo cards working right, Were Do I go to get upgraded drivers?Thank you so much for any help

this is the issue when new operating systems come out or new office suits, and even some new hardware.
all the accessory equipment manufacturers don't have time to write all the new interface codes.
dell inspiron 4000 is one of their work horses, so i would push with them and hope they catch up with you within a week or two. you can go the dell support link and have their system automatically check for updated drivers for your entire computer.
microsoft will not be giving out the upgrades, you just have to work with dell.
by the way, the person who answered earlier may be in for a big surprise. i hope reads the fine print on a free computer and how much it will cost him with the suppliers advertisers to be "free"!!!
