The New England Patriots are right up there as a classy organization that always gets the very best out of their players. Nobody does a better job of plugging in Joe Average into a certain role, tell them the specifics of that role and what the team expects from them, and then they benefit from those players as the system is a great fit for anyone. Brady's receivers in the playoffs were Reche Caldwell and Jabar Gaffney (who and who??) who were both lights out in their playoff games this past year. Unlike some of the idiot GM's in the league who don't understand that Fantasy Football isn't for the NFL (Washington Deadskins GM Snyder comes to mind..), the Patriots build through the draft, because they understand that chemistry is the key and they don't need headcases who want to do it their way. While they haven't had nearly as much success as the Patriots, the Pennsylvania teams are also successful in building via the draft and not free agency. The Steelers and Eagles have both had success in plugging guys into key roles and reaping the benefits. The Patriots are the class of the league, but the Steelers and Eagles are very good in determining the best-case scenarios for their teams in almost all situations. So if I had to rank them it would be:
1) Patriots
2) Steelers
3) Eagles

Packers are also a good arguement because they are relatively good at locating talent, especially at WR and LB.

In terms of best run Im looking at the Patriots and the Steelers. Both will cut a good player and plug the void nicely. As for class, I think that the Steelers have some of the most class in the league. The Rooney's have done a great job with that franchise and dont accept criminals or any other kind of crap to come into their locker room(with the exception of Joey Porter but his antics were funny and he backed them up).

Also, the Steelers win on a consistent basis. Look at this year 8-8 was considered terrible. So to answer your questions I think the Steelers are the best franchise in football.

Dallas Cowboys are the most successful franchise in NFL history, having appeared in eight Super Bowls—more than any other team. They are known as America's Team and are beloved worldwide. They are also a source of pain for millions of fans, so they are also one of the most hated franchises. In fact, at least 2 haters will respond to this answer negatively.

An argument could be made for the Steelers, San Francisco and the Patriots (only as of late). In my opinion, the only argument with merit would be the Steelers, who beat the Cowboys in 2 Superbowls and the Cowboys returned the favor in only 1.

No doubt...the Pittsburgh Steelers. Any team that has been owned and operated by the same family for over 70 years, only seen 3 coaches in almost 40 years, and won 5 Super Bowls is obviously doing SOMETHING right. I have all the respect in the world for the Rooney family and the Steelers. The entire franchise, everything about it, has been the object of my true football love for as long as I can remember.

Hands down, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Rooneys have been one of the founders of the NFL & take care of their team, the players, the city their fans & the league as well.
PS To Legend; The Steelers have 5 SB & I believe that team for New England doesn't. So what's with "the Pennsylvania teams aren't as successful as the Fats"?

Pittsburgh Steelers have the greatest sports franchise ever, in any sport. Their owners, the Art Rooney family, are top class and run that organization like a well oiled machine. Two coaches in 30 years, 5 Super Bowl rings, and numerous AFC North titles. Plus, 19 of their 22 starters in Super Bowl XL were their original draft picks. They are by far the best franchise in Football.

The Green Bay Packers! They are the only NFL team actually owned by their fans! Every season ticket holder is a share holder and no one person has absolute control. You'll never have to worry about an arrogant owner such as Bob Irsay or Bill Bidwell or Al Davis moving them to another city to line their pockets!!

if u know anything about the football you have to say the dallas cowboys. They are america's team and they have been to 8 super bowls and won five of them. they have been dominate every decade and have had some of the best players in football history. aikman,smith,irvin...etc. now they have had their share of off the field troubles but for shake of argument lets just keep it to on the field. They also make so much no matter how the team does they always sell a butt load of tickets and have a huge fan base and very loyal fans.

the only fans that are more loyal are radiers fans but you still have to go cowboys all the way on this question.

p.s. i hate the cowboys. GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, francise...French is such a beautiful language. As far as NFL franchises, I assume you mean both on and off the field. Has to be the Cowboys as they have won Super Bowls in various decades and rake the dough in plus have a rep as a fairly well-run franchise at least during the Landry era.
