Muscle cars were just cars that were usually 2 door vehicles that had big engines.A good full size car usually had big engines as well as bench seats.I had a 1972 Pontiac Catalina with a 400 cubic inch V8.It was able to do 15 seconds in the quarter mile drags. The car was actually meant for the nice ride, although it could get out of its' own way.A better muscle car would be 1967 Pontiac GTO.You could always exchange the bucket seats for a bench seat.

69-71 roadrunners had bench seats. They were the ultimate muscle car. The 440 and 383 engines were detuned in 71 to meet emission standards but you could still get a full power 426 hemi. That was also the last year they were available.
