the pin wasn't dirty but not 100% steril and it hurts to move the pin closer or away from me. will it stop hurting when the hole gets bigger? or will it just hurt more if i wait longer

Ummm you know u can buy an earpiercing kit right???? U should never ever pierce it with a pin its really bad take it out!!!!!!!!!!!

Although piercing your ear with a safety pin can work if you know what you're doing, this was a terrible idea. Never, EVER pierce a part of your body with something that isn't sterile. Take it out, clean it with alcohol, and leave it along. If it continues to stay red, swollen, and hurts, see a doctor as it's most likely infected.
I wont give you advice on how to do this again since you weren't smart the first time. Next time, go get it done somewhere. ;p

this was not a good idea. it probably hurts because you did not sterilize your hands or the pin completely or used gloves, and piercing it with a pin isn't good at all. so take the pin out and don't do the other side. don't put an earring in thew whole. use rubbing alcohol on the pierced area. band aids don't do anything so don't put a small one on there or else it will take longer to heal.

honestly i dont knwo where you periced your year. Eaither way you should take it out and get it done professionally. I would def get some peroxide like right now to put on it or keep cleaning it with water... but dont use a rag or ne thing just let it run under water.... If you have peirced your lower lobe it could be fine... but i would still talk it out.. if it was ne where else in your ear wich it sounds like it was i would seriously go get that checked out cause you could have damnaged the cartalidge in your ear... wich that would hurt alot!!!

you should take the safety pin out and get either gold or silver earrings and apply alcohol to your ears and the rings twice a day for 4 days also neospryin helps also just rub small amount around hole. hope this help and also you should never use a safety pin use the right eqipment

Are you nuts? Sticking a non-sterile pin in your ear? see a doctor as soon as you can before it gets infected. Trust me I've seen a infected ear from someone who did this. It ain't pretty.
