what's his name? i don't think he was that great in other movies i saw him but he was really good in this one i think he should have.................that was such a good movie! but it was so sad!

Don Cheadle is the actors name, and no he did not win. He was up against some very tough competition in 2005. Other best actor nominees at the 2005 Oscars were Leonardo DiCaprio for The Aviator, Johnny Depp for Finding Neverland, Clint Eastwood for Million Dollar Baby, and the winner that year Jamie Foxx for Ray. Don Cheadle is his name, and he was nominated for an Oscar but did not win. He did win best actor at the Golden Satellite Awards (whatever they are).

Very underated actor - he has been in a lot of films

don cheadle did not win for his portrayal of paul rusesabagina, but jamie foxx was very deserving. don cheadle was in 'devil in a blue dress' with denzel. they both deserved nominations that year(can't remember the year but it was the 90s).
