I found a telephone number for John Inmans agent and asked if I wished to send condolences to Johns partner could I send them to Him to pass on he said yes if anyone else would like to I will print them off and send them on.

my 5 children loved him in the Are you being served film when we recently bought on dvd they were not born for its run on tv and today they went around saying I'M FREE in memory of a real talented british comedian that will be sadly missed but whose memory will last forever.

My whole family, now grown up and have their own children enjoyed the series of Are You Being Served and all the actors in it were great. John Inman put his own personal stamp on his characterisation of Mr Humphrey's. My condolences on such a nice man passing at such an early and young age.

John Inman was a great entertainer that i grew up with watching on Tv, he was funny and will be sadly missed by many im sure.
