This morning when I woke up and went to the bathroom I noticed some pink like discharge on my panty liner and more throughout the day. My pregnancy books say this is "bloody show" what has been you experience with this and when if any did you start getting contractions? I feel some pressure but no real contractions yet. I am 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant! Thanks!

Keep track of this, you are probably in labor but most people don't know they are in labor until they are in the 2nd stage of labor. Just pay attention to your body and what it is doing, if your water breaks or you start having regular contractions about 5-8 minutes apart go to the hospital.

I had the bloody show for a week before I went into labor, but everyone is different. I would expect you to go into labor anytime within the next week so be prepared. If the discharge gets any more bloody call your Dr asap!

Did you have intercourse, or a cervical exam? You can bleed a little from that. A little pressure could indicate labor, but I would call the doc any ways to see what he/ she says
