Yes, I am very saddened by the Brazilians' attitude towards president Bush. I've been reading on the BBC that many Brazilians are growing weary of Democracy and free-market capitalism. I do not blame them, but it saddens me that for whatever reason the problems are somehow associated with the United States. I do not care who the president is, what disappoints me is the general hatred towards an American political icon as well as the United States itself.

JFK didnt get the U. S. into the missile disaster it replaced into the CIA who tried to overthrow Fidel Castro they claimed a pretend flag asserting the Cubans had missiles pointed on the U. S. and its allies in spite of if it replaced into all lies this whilst JFK became conscious and pulled the plug on the venture saving family with Cuba subsequently getting himself assassinated interior the technique btw i've got self assurance G Bush might have purely invaded Cuba and Clinton might have additionally JFK replaced right into a brave guy in spite of if it value him his existence

Saddened?! Hell, no!!! Bush is a disgrace to the international community for the way he crafted his ill-timed and problematic policies! Look at the protesters in Brazil, Bush's first stop on his tour of Latin America, the protesters are being arrested just for speaking their minds on that sorry excuse of a man! They hated his stinking guts! And what I'm referring to? His policies on the illegal war in Iraq (ongoing as of now) and the environment are what the protesters are getting on him about. The same could be said for several other countries in the region where Bush will stop to visit in the coming days! Yes, indeed! More protests will be right at his doorstep! Yes, Bush was a mistake from the very first day he took office a little more than six years ago! And he'll be a mistake until being forced out office on January 20, 2009! For now, I want to hear more of the anti-Bush rhetoric flowing from here at home and around the world! Enough said!

They are the counter part to what we have here at home from the left wing. Should Brazilians need aid of any kind or any country for that matter America is always there. Save the Rain Forrest.

well, since Bush is a moron and pretty much all the arguments and reasons for not liking him that I've heard are true....no, why would i be saddened?

what I AM saddened by is the fact that the supposed "best" and "most powerful" nation on the planet "elected" him TWICE...

To the deluded who have replied to this question, and feel a sense of astonishment, disgust and outrage at those agreeing with the Brazilians.
I challenge you to name one nationality who would welcome the murderous moronic half-wit with anything but loathing.
Even we here in Britain, whom the majority of naïve Americans mistakenly believe agree with your war of terror, would throw more than manure at this piece of human excrement masquerading as a human being at best and as a president at worse.

How exactly would you Bush lovers expect the rest of the world to welcome this imbecile? I know, you would expect us to drop our trousers bend over and say; “Oh beloved president of the benevolent USA, do what you want with us”

Wake up and smell the roses…NO country’s majority would turn out and welcome your ‘president’ with open arms or trousers around their ankles.

You ask, "Are you saddened..." I challenge any American to name ONE nationality who would be ecstatic at the visit of an American fool!! (Excluding any, foreign Government’s official line).

The irony lost on the majority of Americans is; you truly are proud of this imbecile whom you chose as your representative...

Yes, but it saddens me much more to hear the anti-Bush rhetoric here at home. I sometimes wonder what kind of nation we have become?

I wish we could see protests like that in our own country against the Bush regime. It would definitely give Bush something to think about. Even though, his aides and the US Secret Service work tirelessly to protect him from such events, he would eventually get the message.
