Of course it would. By creating better jobs, inventing new technologies, having an energy surplus, and having a future to look forward to, our economy would be greatly bolstered.
Under the war plan, only a few segments of the economy benefit, while the majority suffer.

Everyone here but one person seems to just throw out a bunch of regurgitated leftist rhetorical tripe. I fear for us.

I think if the greening of America continues to come about in a give and take, free-market driven enterprise, I have nothing against it. It does produce opportunities for everyone.

If it comes about by a myriad of legislation overseen by bureaucrats, then I am completely against it.

No. the green movement (which is also the anti war movement) is anti capitalist. It will ultimately generate so many laws, regulations, et cetera that businesses will flow more quickly to other countries who are glad to have them.

That is how textbook 'redistribution of wealth' works.

No, it will destroy the economy. Government cannot mandate change of personal behavior like this. All it does is raise the cost of living and doing business, which is passed on to us.

If turning green becomes more efficient than what we have now then the answer is yes.

If it does not then the answer is no.
