You aren't wrong for asking this. And you are right - really who cares, deep down inside, about a gold digger and media creation like Smith? I'm sorry she died so young but that's life (and death). I wondered with the whole world at eachother's throats, this story got so much coverage. And to think Larry King devoted at least 2 complete shows to it was shocking.

I think her mother deserves to rot in hell.

What kind of mother goes against her daughter's wishes, delays her burial until her body is rotting and can not even be properly displayed and respects payed the way they should have been.

Right up until the funeral she tried to stop it because she is a selfish hog.

Even Stern accepted her "other" boyfriend as possible kid's father into the funeral and home afterwards, which was really kind and nice knowing the guy obviously cared for her. The whole money thing is disgusting and frankly I hope her hog of a mother croaks from a heart attack too and that should put the end to the viscious cycle of deaths around all that and hopefully Howard and his daughter will be able to move forward in peace, when all this is settled which it isn't yet.

At least mother and son are lying side by side which is how it should be.

Rumours were that Anna Nicole had Lupus...I guess time will tell what the truth is. Still, people love these real life soaps and blew it all to these proportions with the help of the media. I think when the media finally develops a conscience, then maybe all this sordidness will cease, and people will go back to doing what they were doing. Kind of like the TRUMAN movie when it ended....that's about how long people will remember Anna Nicole too if they just let it go.

You are not wrong for asking. It was not over the top for someone like Anna, I believe she thought it was just fine. It just took to long for it to take place. As for her mother...what a drama queen...holding up her daughters funeral at the last moment, she is no mother in my eyes. A loving mother would want what her child's wishes were, not their own.

I thought it looked really nice. I just think the woman got a bad start in life. But I'm so glad her mother didn't get her way. I know me and my mother are alot like Anna and her mother. I sure wouldn't want my mother to have a say in where to put me. Like Anna said, "she knows nothing about me". May she now rest in peace!

I thought there was far too much coverage considering she was nothing more than a D grade starlet who's only talent was removing her clothes and running around acting incoherent most of the time! God, the way they went on she was a combination of Marilyn Monroe/Mother Theresa!! And this whole sideshow/freak act will continue on and on and on!!! Pulllleaseeee!!! Enough already!!!!
