I may be forced with a big decision soon. Whether to go to Memphis for a job, or Cincy for a job? I personally am leaning towards Cincy, but I'd like other opinions. And these two cities are my only choices right now because of possible job opportunities coming up....so please no persuading me to move anywhere other than these two places. Thanks.

Memphis has a crime problem - so stay in the suburbs. But, the food is great, the people are friendly and there is not a state income tax in TN.

Do not know much about Cincy.

If you like Baseball, there is not any team around. Memphis does have a pro basketball team.

If you have children, there is enough for them to do in Memphis to keep them entertained and out of jail.

I grew up in Memphis due to my father accepting a job transfer to memphis from Chicago. He was criticized for being a" yankee" but said he could never go back to the crazy weather up north. The weather in memphis is beautiful all year round! There is plenty to do there and cute little suburbs. They are building many new homes in areas with nice schools. You also get a lot more house there than up north for the same amount of money.
