I think it'd be a great idea to have a built in fridge in cars for us to store fruit/vegetables on our long commutes. It'd save us from getting hungry and giving in to driving to get fast food. Of course this is only a good idea for those of us with the sense not to peel an orange while we're driving.

They already do. It's called a Dodge Caliber. They call it a beverage cooler and it uses the cooling power of the A/C system to work. You can also buy those little fridge coolers that are powered by the 12V outlet in your car.

And I am sure you are the one with the sense. Like there isn't enough jackas*es on the road now. Now we are going to attempt to drive, talk on the phone, send a fax ,and make a bologna sandwich at 65 mph. SWEET

yes, and the new dodge avenger in 2008 is coming out with a cooler too. looks like a new standard for many dodge vehicles

1993 nissan silvia got a cold box for 2 cups inside the glove comp..


but still nobody ever make a car with a hair saloon..

Well...they've already started with the coolers in the center consoles of the Lexus. So in due time I am sure of it.
