Just wondering if the old ever shines through when involved in an affair or affair turned relationship?

You know what? Looking at your questions and getting a best answer for one, I realized that you already know the answers to your question. Sheesh, they're all basically the same 3 or 4 anyhow.

I'm not sure if you're reaching out for understanding or what, but heres my advice. Dump your new guy. Beg for hubby's forgiveness, tell him exactly what you need. Hope for the best.

What you want to hear goes like this: What you've done is A-OK. Everybody does it, it's cool. No problem, and yes the grass really is greener now.

Truth or lie, you decide.

I hope everything works out the way it should for you...

PS: Stats show 80% of second marriages fail too.

People are in a hurry to get involved, then at the first 'bump' they are in a hurry to jump ship.
Don't put yourself in a situation where you don't know the 'old' and you won't have any surprises.
If you are involved or have been involved in 'affairs', then, you deserve what you get. It's 2007 and people should be alittle more intelligent.
If you are already there, well, you have to do what many are currently doing--and that is, deal with it, or get out of it.

This is funny. My wife had an affair a decade ago. After a few weeks of whining, I decided to stand strong and say goodbye to her and wish her luck with her new man. Their relationship fell apart so fast it makes me chuckle now in hindsight...the romance and erotic fun evaporated when real life kicked in. She is now back with me, and our marriage is strong again. For them, the old shone through quickly.

i think it happens every day, where the honeymoon stage ends, and it always does, and the person becomes just what they were always. the time when the real truth comes out, and the faults are seen. than and only than do people wonder what they ever saw in that person they left their family for. lust causes people to really believe they are in love, when all it is is lust.

If I have been to pass classification today (that's Tuesday), i could be skipping the marvelous, and subsequently, fail. I envy people who can purely pass instructions wily-nilly, however. You fortunate b*st*rds! :-P
