My 6 month old just went throught this when she was 5 1/2 months old. She has two bottom teeth on the bottom. When I go out to eat. I usually freeze a banana ahead of time and I put in a bowl. I take (one of those things you can put food in) and I let her chew on that and she loves it. I have also tried the wash cloth in the freezer which also works well. The teething meds didn't really help so I stopped using them. Good Luck

I don't know what you consider the regular ones...for my kids I always gave them Baby Motrin and frozen teething rings. Also, sucking on a wet washcloth seems to help, too. Baby Orajel tastes really bad, but works well, so just have some water nearby to rinse his mouth. Those little finger toothbrushes, found in little baby kits help, too. Hope it helps!!

Giving her calpol interior the final dose on the final time is thoroughly risk-free and won't harm her in any respect. that's a paracetamol suspension (which ability it i blended into yet another liquid) and isn't any longer risky one bit. you could as properly provide her nurofen liquid on the comparable time with out harming her as the two drugs are thoroughly unrelated and could provide double soreness alleviation. once you're nevertheless annoying, call NHS direct yet I guarantee you there are no longer any long term result to giving calpol on your toddler.

You may not believe this (but I have got three daughters, and I used this every time) but the answer is beef jerky! LOL! Truly, it does work. You must get the flat beef jerky (to reduce risk of choking) and monitor baby's progress as he "gnaws" on the jerky in case it starts to flake off (it could choke him). I don't know how or why it works but it does and they love it.....

wet washrags and put them in the fridge. take them out when he needs one. I'm telling you my son only liked cloth to chew on instead of all the fancy teethers we bought him. plus, I think him chewing on the cloth constantly helped the tooth (teeth actually, they always came in 2 at a time) come in faster because it worked the gum down. try it and see.
