just tell him to shut up and accept the fact that u like vanilla ice cream who cares? I get the same flavor everytime I go to Coldstone! I wish somebody would say I'm boring because I like a particuar flavor!

i like vanilla myself, but don't feel like you have to change...sometimes it's better to stick with what you know and enjoy your bites...instead of 'experimenting' and ending up with something crappy.
