I used to have two but now I only have one. She betrayed me in more than one way. I knew this girl since I was 3 and we've always done everything together. Last year I found out that she kissed my brother( Thats one of the rules of best friendship, you don't get romantically involved with the others family members it can cause problems and she knew that) Then later in the year she got a boyfriend (oh yeah she was only 17) her parents didn't know and she wouldn't tell me how old he was. She finally told me aftershe turned 18. He was 35! I didn't like it and neither did her family. I didn't say anything to her until later. I was worried about her because no 35 year old has any business being with a 17-18 year old. (It makes you wonder whats wrong with him that he can't find someone his own age.) So of course being a good friend I wanted to let her know that I was worried about her and tell her how I felt. when I did talk to her she insulted me and everyone else who cared about by saying "If I love and makes me happy why should age make a difference!" So I got angry and told her how it was! I said something like "You know age doesnt matter when your older but when your not even an adult it doesnt work like that. And I can tell you you don't love him your just infatuated with him! and Lastly I am so sorry for caring about you! I wont bother you anymore!" Before she could say anything I hung up. Since then our relationship has been more than rocky. Shes tried calling me to go to the movies and rebuild our relationship but everytime we set a date she didnt show up and I ended up seeing a movie by my self. Shed call later saying she was with her boyfriend. were not even aquaintences anymore. For a long time I cried because its had losing a friend you've known all your life. I finally stopped and thought its not worth having a friend who would choose a stud over a bud. the other day I saw her and him at the mall and had to spend my whole time there avoiding them. Oh, yeah did I mention hes bald, short and has a big torso and skimpy legs. But I still have one best friend and deep down in my heart I know she will never betray me and she will always be loyal!

I use to, but unfortunately, I learned that she was never really a friend to me. We were BFF since jr high.... I thought she was great.....even though she always went after the guys that I liked. We did everything together........ then as adults.....
I was her made of honour at her wedding and then a few years later she just up & moved...no phone call, no warning no anything. She still lived in my town, but she didnt feel that I was important enough to have her new info.
I ran into her at Target two years later and we exchanged phone numbers.......acted like nothing happened. Then when I would call her she never returned my calls.........so I deleted her number and I just constantly remind myself that IF she was ever REALLY my friend......she never would have treated me so badly. Now I dont have a BFF. I am slow to open up to people, but when I do......I know they will be a friend for life. I have a few friends for life, but not just one BFF.

No but I was thinking today that I would like one! Used to have one but she was a bit of a nightmare. It's a bit difficult now at this age (27) to find one, although I have lots of friends I don't really have anyone I could phone at 3am :-( or even at 7pm with a serious problem!
