Enjoy it while you can. When you're older (say, high school aged), you'll want to sleep all the time. I wish I still had to go to bed at 8:00 every night. Adults have too much to do all the time, so we don't get enough sleep. Some of us are super jealous of kids whose parents make them go to bed so early.

Kids are supposed to get 9-12 hours of sleep every night. It isn't healthy for your body to stay up so late. If you go to bed early, you will be very refreshed in the morning

so they get plenty of sleep. plus some are just hard getting up in the morning. i think 9 o'clock is a good time depending on a kids age. but if your a teenager i think like 11 is a good time. but once you reach that age you go to bed when you felt like it at like 16. i hated a bed time when i was younger. it wasn't fair since i had a older brother. that's what i always said. that's like eat breakfast you do better. non of it ever worked for me. i did better with less sleep. I'm good with 3 hrs of sleep been like that for years. but thats there reasons and you don't go to bed really at that time.

Are you kidding? I'm a teacher and you wouldn't believe how many kids don't have a bedtime. They're the ones who walk in the room sleepy. Most parents are great and have a bedtime for their kids. These kids are (by far) the best and the brightest. I have no doubt their futures are secure. See, the whole answer to a successful life is a good bedtime.

College answers that very well. The more you sleep the better you do (i know this from experience). Learn to appreciate getting to bed early, because college homework combined with other stuff, like sports or clubs, will make you wish for more sleep.

It's not fair for kids to be zombies from lack of sleep during school hours, either. A well-rested child might have caught the grammatical error in the question, also. "too" means as well as or also.

You need at least 8 hours of sleep a night to concentrate better in school. And it isn't only for kids everyone should sleep at least 6 hours a night.

You're absolutely right. When you are a parent, you can let your kids stay up as late as you want, and watch what happens. Until that time, you are just learning to live with the injustice of it all. Maybe that will make you a revolutionary, which could be a good thing.
