The United States presidential election of 2008 will be held on November 4, 2008.
The election will determine electors for the United States Electoral College. Whoever receives a majority of votes in the Electoral College will be the 44th President of the United States, and whichever vice presidential candidate receives a majority of votes will be the 47th Vice President of the United States
As in the 2004 presidential election, the allocation of electoral votes to each state will be partially based on the 2000 Census. The president-elect and vice president-elect will be inaugurated Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

i'm particularly pulling for a self sustaining party Suprise! i understand that the in reality significant self sustaining party to EVER come on the fringe of triumphing a Presidental election became Teddy Roosevelt who represented the Bull-Moose party, yet i have self belief that both the Republicans and Democrats are too busy bickering about each and each others 'agendas' and in no way focusing on the will OF the individuals! I for one gained't vote for both party because both activities have strayed from the established of restricted authorities. both the republicans and democrats are splitting this u . s . into civil conflict. sure, I stated conflict. What else do you call it even as the individuals are chop up, the individuals are struggling with for one yet another's beliefs, and the authorities and the representatives are in no way able to reconcile their adjustments? This became between the reason's that the Civil conflict became created, because of splits between the activities and the individuals (Slavery became no longer the reason of conflict, it became the count number number of States Rights). i have self belief that if an self sustaining runs, human beings gained't brush him off as likely as before, yet i understand that the possibility of a third party candidate triumphing is slender. after all, united statesa. has popular the Democrat and Republican activities because the most classic, even inspite of the truth that they both f' up, you recognize both or is going to win. Oh, how I wish the revitilization of the Federalist party could take position!
