i saw it - she must have had curves if she was a DD when she started. think the whole point of it was that there was nothing wrong with her in the first place. anyone bigger than her wouldn't have been able to get to a size 0 in that sort a timespan. think 13lbs is alot more to loose when you're that size xxx

I agree with you, this programme sent out the wrong message, she was only a size 8 to begin with (which many people class as underweight anyway) and she and her husband were trying to make out she is curvy, she was skinny to begin with so wouldn't have much trouble getting to a size 4, she must have very small hips to fit in size 8 clothes, she cerytainly ain't curvy, now Marilyn Manroe WAS curvy, I'm a size 10/12 myself but certainly can't fit into size 8 clothes as my hips won't fit, by saying she's curvy she is giving the impression to vunerable people either with an eating disorder or individuals that are a size 10 or above that they must be big, and I also felt that at times she wasn't taking it as seriously as she should have been, as she was seen sometimes smirking when the doctor was informing her of the horrendus consequences that can be a result of undereating, its nothing to smile about, Denise Van outen(who featured for a short while on the programme) would have been a more suitable candidate, with her womanly curvy figure but I suppose they thought as Louise was so thin to begin with she'd be able to get down to a size zero within the month no problem, influencing vunerable people(some above a size eight and some with past eating problems) who are worried about their size to crash diet and if they aren't a size zero within the month they may well get the idea that they must be overweight and so panic, which can then lead to severe implications, this show was quite irresponible, this subject needs to be addressed more sensitivelly!

I have to disagree with some comments. Louise was trying to make a statement about the various negatives to make women get down to a size 0. She was letting us see the pressure there is of girls in the media to be ultra skinny but do not realise the severe consequences they are facing in doing so. Like she said she only did the trial for a month and when I was watching it you could see how ill she was becoming, so you can imagine how ill some of these girls and "models must be", but she perservered so we could all learn from her experiment, but I can imagine must of cost her dearly, causing ill-feeling in her household, but she had tremendous support and I think it is brilliant that a "celeb" would go to those extremes to try and get a point across and think of others where so many of those "celebs" couldnt give a monkeys. Well done Louise and I wish her all the luck. If anyone out there is suffering with this please seek medical help, and I am a single mum of 3 girls so I can comment on these subjects and know what I am talking about.

her dogs had more curves than she did. Just a little bit of self promotion is you ask me. She used to be a lot bigger than that in here heydey so the hypocrite had obviously lost weight to do the show in the first place. Someone that size can never relate to young girls who have REAL problems and issues with their weight and appearence. She came across as working from a script and being very insincere. When she met those young girls with anorexia, instead of using the opportunity to discuss the serious issues these girls are going through, she started crying - hopeless.

I thought I was the only one who thought that. One minute she said her hair was lank and her skin was a mess, then when it was all over and she put the dress in the bin, she was still a size 0, but got dressed to go out with her mates and looked amazing! Her hair was lovely and her skin looked beautiful. Where were the curves in the first place anyway?

She was only a size 8 to begin with, and she did look really skinny, she did'nt have any curves, like when she said her husband loves her bum,i thought what bum.She really was'nt the right person to be doing it,they should have used someone more curvier to do it.I think she was under weight before she done the experiment anyway.

Yeah, I know what you are saying. Technically her 33 inch hips would already have been a size 0. Her 32 inch hips at the end of the show would be a size 00!

HTH.

What curves, if she was any thinner she'd look like an ironing board with a couple of fried eggs on it!

I really enjoyed it and thought that she did a really good point getting her view across and showing people that it isnt good to crash diet etc etc! Maybe she isnt the curviest women but at least she was doing a worthwhile program.
