All that place does is give you a place to "publish" the stuff you already wrote (the fact that they point you to OpenOffice as word processor should be a big hint). They also give you peer reviews of fellow members.

First, you write your story in Microsoft word, or whatever writing program you have... save it on your computer...
Then you must have an account on Fanfiction.net
you then upload files, and save them as chapters...
