I know what you mean. I wasn't a girly girl until I was in my 20's until then I was more of a tomboy. You find me hanging out with the guys and the girls who were like me. The best advice I can give you is not to be fake in anyway. Not only are you cheating yourself but, you are cheating others around you, who don't get to see the real you. Its going to be tough but, its a lot tougher to keep up a fake act than to be yourself. Find some people who you can hang out with that are more into your thing. Maybe its more guys than girls but, thats ok. There might be a few girls who like the same things as you also.

Wow I am in 7th grade too and it is tough because every body thinks i'm a goth emo freak when really I just dress different. People made fun of me fro a long time but I just ignore them they eventually got the message that I don't care. So be yourself and not under the influence of others.

Stay different. There's nothing wrong with not being like everyone else. I'm different & sometimes i don't like admitting it but it's the truth. I don't fit in w/ girls in my grade & half of them don't like me but i'm not changing 4 them. Unlike u i am girlie but i still don't fit in. U don't have to change & being different is something to be proud of. Don't change 4 anyone b/c u'll never make urself happy that way. BTW i'm in the 6th grade. My name is Abby & u can IM me if u want. My ID is xabby_06x.

Be your self you will soon find out that, these people around are going to be going through changes in friends, and situations, if you want to do the girly thing go for it, if not then don't, there is no reason to change the way you are to fit it.

Be yourself, everyone and everything is unique. :)

... or would you prefer to be a clone of some other girl in your grade?

Your life is your choice, your decision. Happiness comes from enjoying what you do and accepting yourself, as well as things and people that are around you.

Why let peer pressure ruin your happiness. ;)

9th grade is tough too, but there will always be ups and downs, thicks and thins. ;) Trust reality - be yourself. :D

Aha brings me back my horrid grade seven memories....anyways, I was the exact same; I HATED make-up (still do) I wore baggy clothes, and I listen to heavy metal music. The "snob mob" decided to annoy me like hell about how I looked. I would stay the same if I were you; just tell them all: I am not going to dance around in tight pink shoes, this is me, take it, or leave it.

Never try to be someone your not because firstly you feel like an ***.. you may get some good things out of it but generally you'll have to be enthaustic even if your not inside. Secondly, people might notice this and judge you for trying to fit it. Thats my opinion anyways.

u should just be yourself, choose an outfit that yells out 'U' , u dont have to be girlie if u dont want to, but if it'll look good on u, then i say go with it. u might get more guys that way. lol ♥
