OK just seen your update if you are a cover supervisor and you enjoy working in that faculty it may be a good idea to look at on the job training in that area. Also keep an eye out for internal job bulletins as you have a higher chance of success than externally advertised posts.

I am working in a school as well . Are you replacing the toilet pans by any chance . It is a right messy job but someone has to do it .
If you are you should be flushed with success and will be able to progress onto being able to replace tap washers eventually.Then the world is your oyster !

it depends what area you want to work in & what you enjoy doing. have a look through your local papers job pages and see if anything appeal then look at what qualifications / experience you need.
