I want that OFF of my avatar....I find it offensive and it seems a direct result of Yahoo NOT addressing our concerns, but their pencil pushng...what are your thoughts of this? And now the FANS???? I want NO ONE to be on a list for that!!!!! I am upset, are you???????

I don't have one, and I'm not being spiteful or whatever when I say this, but it looks annoying and it does kind of annoy me. And they made SO MANY of them. It made more sense when there was just the Top Answerer for each board. It's like every other person on here is a Top Contributor now. And also, some people who have less points than others got picked for it! I saw a Level One person as a Top Contributor, and there's like, Level 4 & 5's that aren't! If they're trying to distinguish people for a job well done, how much sense does THAT make? I'm kinda low myself, and I'd think it would be wrong for me to get something someone who'd been on here longer deserved. Like, what have I done to deserve it? But there are people who do.

I'm not a "top contributor" so i cant say i feel offended yet...but it does seem strange..one day evry ones avatar thing is normal and the next i see all the bright orange tags there.. I was so confused(mostly because i didnt have one..)...
But even though im not labeled i do feel that yahoo should give u the choice of showing it or not...also y did they start this contibutor thing anyway.......o well

At least with the FANS you can opt out and delete it...it's redundant since we have 360 for friends so we don't need it. But this STUPID orange $hite is a load of crap.....I want it gone. There is no way to make it go away. You are so right about it being a damn decoy to cover up the fact that their violations system is a big fat failure!!!Please stand your ground and fight this!!!

I'm not offended by it, I think it's just another "label" that really doesn't have any meaning. It's kind of distracting though. I think the Yahoos should have put it to a vote instead of just plastering it all over everyone's avatars.

its a bit off putting, i like coming on here, just to share my invaluble knowledge with others...lol.....but why can't everyone be a top contributer, ive had a look at some of these people and i have more best answers than some, so why arent i one, i feel a bit dejected now lol....

The orange box is hard on my eyes, and why would I wan it anyway, I would have to dedicate myself to one section of yahoo to get one. I get bored easily and like to travel all over Y/A.

I can't help but think it is a big orange target around our necks for Yahoo to get rid of us. When it was introduced they started with P&S, why us, and why are most of us got one. there is no explanation on Yahoo's blog, what is it for. i think this could be sinister
