i play high school football (4A) and people say im 1 of the best backs they have ever seen. last year we played 11 games and i got 1237 rush yards, 8 td's, and averaged 6.3 yards per carry. also caught for 700 yards and 4 td's. my 1 weakness people say is my ability to pass block for my qb. people run me over there. i have been contacted by Notre Dame, Texas, LSU, and Michigan. leaning towards ND but still not sure.

Anything is possible with enough effort and skill.. In HS it sounds like you are doing quite well but, right now you are a big fish in a small pond. When you enter college, they all were big fishes in small ponds so you are now on an even playing field.. In order to succeed you will again need to become a big fish among all the big fish. Keep working hard for your goal and listen to your coaches, forget having a life besides football, and you have a slight chance. Your future is completely up to you and how much effort you are willing to give. Remember.. once you hit college you are a small fish all over again.. You must excel and you must continue to improve your god given talents. Good Luck to you and I hope to hear about you someday in the NFL.

Hahahaha keep this letter and IF you become big I want a cut of your salary .. hahah good luck...

Who knows bro, but there are at least 300 other backs of your caliber playing high school ball now. It also depends where you play. If you play in los angeles against other top tier teams or Texas, just as long as you are in a big market. If you play in some scrub league in Wyoming who cares you should have those stats. Letters don't mean crap until they offer you a full ride and you sign. Look at how many backs are on any given team in college. They are 3 deep on every Div 1, 2, and 3 team. Maybe 15 of those 1000 will get a shot. Keep your goals set high and work on your weaknesses, but don't get a big head.

those r weak numbers, go back and look at nfl players high school numbers. Those r like at least 10.0 yrds a carry for most dudes. You have zero chance for the nfl. It's a cruel fact. But deal w/ it

i'd focus on college first .... go to a school wear they can prep you well for the pros. Then worry about the league later .... YOu should be getting recruited by some good schools.

And remember a good back can catch out the backfield and pick up blocking blitzers .... its not soley focused on running.

If you are that good, then some big-name colleges will be recruiting you.

(Big-name = NotreDame, USC, Florida, OhioState, etc.)

If no one is recruiting you, then you probably aren't as good as you think.

As for the NFL, you HAVE to go to college football first. The NFL has rules (upheld in court) against playing kids right out of H.S.

Good luck!

with that many games played i'd say that those numbers are pretty impressive. If you stay working hard, and get into a good college, you probably will get noticed and go far.

Those numbers would hardly put you into any kind of elite RB status. Keep dreaming but I wouldn't go spend that signing bonus just yet.
