This all gets easier if you keep track of units:

1 minute = 60 seconds
1 hour = 60 minutes
1 day = 24 hours
1 week = 7 days

So, 1 week = 7*(24 hours) = 7*24*60 minutes = 7*24*60*60 seconds

Allright, i took physics. It is really easy, you just have to work everything out. 60 seconds are in one minute. use s for seconds, and m for minutes. 60s/m. This means there are 60 seconds in a minute. there are 60 minutes in an hour. There are 24 hours in a day. There are 7 days in a week.
Now for your equation. s is seconds, m is minutes, h is hour, d is day, w is week.
60s/m * 60m/h*24h/d*7d/w. Minutes, hours, and days will cancel out, and you will have 60*60*24*7 seconds per week.
