ok, the girl is 30 years old and the only bill she pays is rent! she doesn't have a car payment or anything. and my boyfriend and i were going to move out together and then her mom starts calling and saying that she doesn't want her living by herself...i have lived by myself since i was 18! i think she just doesn't want to live by herself because she doesn't want to pay any bills for herself. i just don't know how to confront her about it-or him for that matter. i don't want any of them to be mad at me but this HAS to stop somewhere....please help!

In my opinion it is best to discuss this with your boyfriend and let him discuss it with his sister. He needs to stand up for himself, not have his girlfriend do it for him. I know you have good intentions, but I can't see any good outcome from you confronting his sister. And that could also damage your relationship with him in the long run. If mom doesn't want the sister living alone, then the sister can go live with mom.

Does she have a job?
Does she earn enough to pay other bills?

I totally repect your feelings and understand them, I myself moved out at 19 to another country,
but it's a family thing, mommy will always be like that.

I suppose you need to talk to your boy-friend - how much does he want to move in with you together, without the sis?
If he listens to the mother which he is inclined to do being a good son and a good brother, it might take more time than you hope...

Always remember this, no one takes advantage of you without your own permission. Your boyfriend needs to put his foot down or else she will continue to walk all over him.

Your boyfriend has to choose his own battles, and if you are not careful, the battle will be with you. Don't come between him and his family.
