CiD.....(then the add info) is what it says at the very top of the every popup.Some times it shows up on my task bar as a "pop under" but it still says "CiD" on the button.
This "CiD" popup is a reletively new new popup ad that im getting every 5 minutes.I used to get a similar one that said something else at the top of the popup.I somehow got it to stop popping up,but forget how i did it.I have a few aggressive popup blockers,but this popup penitrates them and still gets through somehow.How can i stop this crap?Any help is appreciated ....Thanks

simple answer: go to Start >> Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs >> click on CiD Help >> Un-Install
As far as i know, to date (i may be mistaken), only symantec products properly recognize this ad-ware, which is installed from some software you downloaded and installed.

download Ad-ware or Spy-Bot get that software off your computer!!
