I have a small pocket watch that belonged to my Grandmother. I have tried to find out what kind it is and if it has any value. The mainspring is broken and parts are not available, maybe someone could be able to make spring but would like more information on watch before putting that kind of money in it.
The information I have is Serial # 7163030 - Key Stone Watch Case - Garanteed 20 yrs. J Ross, could be J Boss but believe it is J Ross
Have tried to find info on internet but must not be looking in the right place.

Take it in to your local jeweler. We have people do this all the time. Sometimes we know, sometimes we just send it out for an estimate. We use a watch repair company out of Michigan called Universal Watch Repair. Sounds like it would be worth checking into.
