NAM stands for Number Assignment Module. It is used to in the programming of your phone. I wouldn't mess with this section of your phone or change anything, unless you change your number or something. If your phone is not programmed with the correct info, it will not work. If, for some reason any info in this progamming section was changed, contact your carrier or return to phone retailer to walk you through the programming again.
