What is the best gaming joystick for simulators?

I am one of those people that likes flight simulators a lot (FS2004) and about now its time for me to buy a new joystick, my other one is really old. So does anybody have any good suggestions on what I should buy?

If you fly GA (general aviation) 'planes then the CH Products yoke and pedals are the most appropriate.

If you fly fighters then one of the Saitek sticks is more realistic.

If you can buy the magazine "PC Pilot" over in the 'States they often review new items of hardware. If you can't get it easily it's worth you considering a subscription.
