You are the same as a momma dog to her. I would recommend that others play with her when you are not around. Or, hand her to them to give her permission to leave. If you were a real momma dog you would nip her neck to get her to go away.

This pup is 2 weeks away from its mother too soon! She needs total protection and attention at this point. I raised pups for a living for quite some time and I went the extra mile of not allowing separation from the mother for 12-15 weeks!

You are mother, father and sibling to this lil one so be all those things and more! She is doing right by bonding only with you and be glad of it. When she is ready, older and wiser, she will venture out on her own to learn of others in the world, don't push her.

A 7 week old puppy is a VERY young puppy. She's afraid of everything else because she thinks you're her mother at this stage. Let her grow and learn about her surroundings. Take her for walks as she gets older and let her explore (on a leash, of course -- she still needs boundaries). She should come around.

Since she is very young make sure she gets enough stress free time. Pets stress is very similar to human stress so you'll see what situations she needs to get away from or where you can comfort her with encouraging enthusiatic words. Ask your family to approach her calmy and to bribe her with cheese.
All dogs loooove cheese and it'll teach her that she gets good things for trusting the other family members.

I also agree with one of the other answers saying don't comfort her every time she is scared because then she'll never learn to be "unscared" on her own.

you really need to get her out and socialize the puppy or she will always be skittish and maybe bite other people. Force her to be in social situations and show her that other people are not going to harm her. and you need to get her in dog training classes at petsmart or petco someplace you can work in a group together

you may want to introduce your puppy to other dogs her size and other people that are very calm and like dogs…no little kids at first. also, if she seems to be doing well with others you might want to go to a local dog park to see how she gets along wiht other dogs as well as people in a social enviornment.

how sweet... BUT...
DONT CODDLE HER. She is just a baby but eventually by coddling her you are telling her that if she acts scared then you'll pet her and make it all better. So if she asks scared (from time to time) kind of ingnor her and let other people play with her.

your dog was taken from its mother far too soon. keep others away from it. there is no need to have alot of people surrounding the poor thing.

Have people around her hold her & play with her so she will realize strangers wont harm her.
