I am not a "hugger" by nature and avoid it at all costs. In fact, I detest that it is a common practice now in churches. Why in the world would you dictate hugging to your neighbor? Hugging is intimate and should be practiced with people who are in agreement of it.

I'm not against huggers practicing this because it makes some people feel good. But no one should be made to do so as an act of kindness to warm up church members. Ugh!
