I'm looking for laptops for college and my campus is wireless capable, but the dorm rooms don't have a great wireless signal. The college uses ethernet cables for its network so I need to make sure the laptop contains a port for ethernet connection. If not do you know of any adapters I could buy? I know you can get a wireless router but they seem kind of expensive.

Yes, it has an ethernet port just like any computer built within the past few years.

If a laptop doesn't have an ethernet port, you can always get a PCMCIA card to connect to connect through wires.

I'd say that just about every laptop made in the last 10 years probably has an ethernet port on it. So, yeah.
