Why do you care about his ring? Don't you think its called a personal life for a reason PERSONAL. and none of our business, why do you think no one really knew about his last girlfriend, because he likes to keep that to himself. He gives us great music, lets at least let him have a private life. He said not to even take the ring seriously, anyways, so don't.
I know your just curious, but this question is asked way too much, and its always the same, which means you could have saved 5 points and looked in the resolved question section.

okay.. so i watched the video too and also noticed the ring. But, it's only a black ring that symbolizes the dark side..like the coldplay vocalist (he has two symbolized rings)..Gerard has created his own for his character in the video

gerard is single. him and his girlfriend of 6 years broke up. he is now homeless and living in various hotels... the ring is part of the character in the video.
