...level-headed and cool under pressure. Does that really work? My mom said, she tried that when she was pregnant with me and my twin sister, but it didn't work. Both of us have a temper (noticeably). We're not cool and level headed, we flare-up easily, etc. Why didn't it worked?

There is no evidence (though people think so) that singing or playing music makes you smarter, music inclined or level headed....They have researched it and there hasnt been enough proof it works

Yay, this is something I learned in school! The characteristics you are decribing are defined as temperment. It can be inherited and it stays with you for your whole life. I'm sure singing helps this a lot but what is more important is that you dont get yourself all upset. Try and supress your temper while you're pregnant because your breathing and heart rate patterns are teaching the baby what to be.

How a child acts is developed over time by the father and mother teaching him/her how to act. Good behavior and coping skills are taught as your grow up by your parents. These things are social skills and mental skills that aren't developed in the womb or by genetics.

i have not heard that theory, but anything is possible. stimulation is good for children. If you want my theory on you an your siblings development.... in studies, a mothers voice is imperative to a newborn, but you were cramped in with this whinny chick and your mom just wouldn't ever shut up!! know wonder you have an agitated attitude. spread out and give everyone a break. we still luv u 2.

Genetics maybe...do your parent have tempers? Behavior I believe can be inherited, but is probably actually learned more than inherited, in my opinion. Who knows why though. I would just look at your own family to find the answers. The apple doesn't always fall to far away from the tree.
