So, I haven't been on yahoo answers a couple of days, and now I see a lot of changes... what's with this top contributor thing and fans and stuff...???

Top Contributors are the ones who contribute a lot to a certain category and are marked by their orange tags.
The Fans, are the ones who like your questions and want to answer them more frequently
The contacts are your "friends" if you will, you can see their questions and answers, and answer their questions.
I hope that helps...a lot of us is still getting used to the process.

No ones really sure about the top contributer at the moment. But the fans and contacts thing is just having a list of friends on Y!A. So far I've been adding people who's questions or answers I like or people that add me.

I lost mine some days in the past and it somewhat is the 0.33 time. the 1st time this got here approximately, it took me some month to get it back. the 2nd time, basically some days. This time, it could desire to take a month back for the badge to return. i think of it replaced into that i replaced into not answering sufficient questions in C & A. I even have been answering questions in different categories and getting the impressive B A (even in C & A), in spite of if it replaced into not sufficient to maintain the TC Badge in C & A. One answer reported not being in C & A for some week might do it and that i think of it somewhat is authentic additionally. The badge will return. I purely could desire to pay interest on answering greater questions in C & A. i will answer someplace else, yet i could desire to step up the answering in C & A.
