The skirt is very cute, it's American Eagle how can you go wrong? :) Since the outfit itself is very simple try some cute accessory's to go along with it.
~ Earrings
~ Rings
~ Braclets
~Necklaces
~ A purse
ect...
(Try not to go overboard though.)

Shoes are another matter, just choose what you find cute and comfortable. There are some really cute wedges in stock for spring !!

*Hope this helps.*

The jean skirt seems to casual for a dance, even if it is for highschool. Why not try this skirt

i'm particularly learning that very question myself, besides the undeniable fact that the final consensus is this: Dance leo's have a tendency to have a decrease neckline, and the gymnastics leo is larger, to boot as contained in the leg starting. Dance leo's persist with the forged colorations in line with college uniform codes that are frequently red and black, even as gynastics has a tendency to be some distance more suitable liberal with the colors. yet another aspect may be fabrication. even as maximum dance leo's are a cotton spandex, or lycra, the gymnastics leo will also comprise all those those and valore, or velvet. yet no longer in dance.

If it's a casual dance, then sure! But I'd lengthen the skirt some since you'll be moving around alot-unless you're just going and not planning to dance.

Ballet flats are really popular right now (and would look cute with this outfit), or either a wedge sandal.

JCPennys has some ideas if you're not sure:

Well it depends on the type of dance you are going to. If it is an informal dance then it will be fine and i suggest cute sandals!!!!!!!!!! BUT if this dance is formal then you need to look for a different more suitable outfit. Try Dillards, Macy's, Wet Seal or Agaci. Hope this helps and have lots of fun at the dance.
