Why do they only push some of the crowd favorites? what about people who have talent?

Yes, just because some wrestlers are heels, doesnt mean the wwe should overlook them. Johnny Nitro for instance.

I agree. There has been a big push with some talent that have produced mediocre results. There are many talented wrestlers waiting for their chance to shine.

That reminds me of the WCW. That is part of what caused their downfall. Many young wrestlers that were at WCW were not getting a push because of the older established wrestlers. They wound up leaving there to go to the WWE. Guys like Eddie Guerrerro, Chris Benoit and others had the talent but needed the push.

Vince should learn from Bischoff's mistakes.

Vinny Mac has an idea of who he wants to push, and if the guys no matter how great they are don't fit his mold, then they don't get pushed. Also, if the wrestler gets in good with HHH then they seem to get decent pushes, re: Batista, Orton

Look at Chris Masters he sucks but Vince likes him he gets pushed, and look at CM Punk the crowds love him, he got a bigger reaction at the Survivor Series than DX so he squashed on ECW for a couple of weeks.

I don't think we are talking about guys like Funaki. Guys like Shelton Benjamin and Randy Orton seem to just be in limbo. These guys are talented and know how to work a match yet we see John Cena every week punching his way to victory. Right now if you aren't some steroid pushing reject from Muscle Beach, you can't be a champ in the WWE because that's who Vince wants to be champ right now. But the "heels" need to stop being wasted in favor of the "faces". It's getting really old really fast.

Overall, it's about $$$ and those wrestlers that fit the mold of GQ males or Playboy type wrestlers that get a good reaction from the crowd (i.e. Cena, Orton, Edge, Ashley, Johnny Nitro and so on). And I agree that their storylines have gotten old and tiresome.

Because Vince doesn't know what the fans want anymore. If you're not around 6'4 280 lbs., he thinks you're useless. There are better guys on all 3 brands that could be better Champs than Cena, Batista, and Lashley.

it all has to do with the lack of creative writting ability by the staff at WWE. They have reused the same story lines since 1960! They don't know how to create new ideas to help grow the sportsentertainment business!

Same reason that unpopular characters on TV shows are taken off, or non-performing members of a company are fired.

There is nothing, I mean NOTHING, going on at the WWE except for exploiting repressed sexual and violent impulses for $$$$ gain.

Unfortunately it's all about putting butts in seats. It has become far more "Sports Entertainment" than wrestling. The people will pay to see stiffs like Cena and Batista but they wouldn't pay to see Finlay vs Benoit in an ironman match.

What ever looks good, sells good.
Which explains the huge push divas like Ashley have been getting...

a pity isn't it?
