I wish I had a nickel for every republican who whined because the democrats haven't come up with a plan for Iraq. Even though the democrats have gone above and beyond their duty and have come up with an alternative plan as announced today, this whining is nonsense. Why are we taxpayers paying the radical republicans salary in the White House and Pentagon if they can't come up with a plan to get our troops out of harms way?

I all hear is "whiiiiine....the democrats haven't come up with a plan yet....whiiiine"

Get with the freakin' program Republicans! If the president and the pentagon are so inadequate that they can't figure out how to amend things in Iraq and they need congress to figure it out for them, they need to get the heck out of office.

What's so difficult about this?

Hello, Imbeciles, the Non-binding resolution was voted upon so that Bush couldn't Veto it, and so that it went on the record as congress showing disapproval for the White House and Pentagon's actions.

It's called passing the blame.

Now that the democrats have the majority, the republicans can blame Iraq on them instead of the republican administration that has caused the debacle in Iraq.

Apparently, not soon enough. As you yourself, perceive this situation (the paralysis of the government)many Americans do as well. That's the problem when you run a single issue policy, the war. There are other areas that have been left unattended for so long. Now, any effort to do something about it is too late and also too little.Am I looking at your question correctly or did I wander? Any way, good question, hopefully anyone with authority ( at the parties or at government) could answer it..

this form of divisiveness has continuously been a factor of politics. The submit WW II era replaced into probable between the main harmonious in our U.S. historic previous, that's all that any you will undergo in concepts. The compelled resignation of Nixon and the Vietnam conflict replaced into the initiating of the top of that "non violent coexistence." The Democrats controlled Congress and the Republicans have been able to pick an incredible president, for this reason some solidarity. Then, invoice Clinton replaced into elected two times with appreciably below 50% of the vote. This blended together with his conceited first 365 days in place of work, bred a bitter hatred. George Bush replaced into denied his danger to reunite, with the aid of closeness of his first election. Many Democrats, regrettably believed that the election have been stolen. for this reason, extra hatred and mockery. Now there's a conflict in Iraq that the two aspects ARE the two RESPONSIBLY FOR. yet, somewhat of being to blame for their joint strikes, one area keeps to blame the different, from Bush lied to Democrats renounce and each little thing in between. no you will function President effectively under those circumstances. i think of we could hearth all of them with term barriers and the customary public must be extra suggested and insist duty somewhat of consistently attempting to place blame.

the rubber will meet the road with the attachment of the article to pull troops out by '08. It will be attached to the "emergency" appropriation for bush's "more of the same" strategy for Iraq. He'll have to veto the bill, taking money away from the troops or bend to the will of the people. Get ready, this could get exiting

The Democrats brought this on themselves. They took control of Congress claiming that the American people were dissatisfied with Bush's Iraq policies, and claiming that they would offer the people something better.

So it is only fair for the Republicans to now say, "Okay. You won the election, you got control of Congress. Now, let's see that "something better" you were promising"

--- cricket.... cricket....

FYI, I did not vote for Bush.

The Republicans already got what they want, a perpetual war.

So long as the President is Republican they will do nothing to end this occupation because they want to claim "unitary executive" priviledge to break the law, as Bush has bragged about doing.

Gee, when I signed the contract to serve my country, I understood the risks. Our military doesn't WANT to come home, A$$, they want to complete the mission, and the Dummycrats would rather have us flee Iraq and leave it to Al Qaeda to set up shop and conduct more terrorst operations here in the US. So, when I vent, it is because you donkeys just don't get it, our Marines and GIs WANT to kill our enemies, who would have suggested we hold Hitler's hand and come up with a logical soultion with the Italians and Germans during the genocide? THE DEMOCRATS of Today, NOT THEN MIND YOU, FDR would smack today's so-called Democrats. And, for the record, I don't whine, Pelosi has cornered that market.
