Even if it's not legal but I documented everything, would it help when anti-gay marriage is overturned because I'd have legal documentations or hinder me because I would be seen as too progressive and radical at the time these marriages were performed?

you'd be a hero hehe. I think, not sure what the laws are where you are, but gays that have a ceremony have all the documentation anyway but it's not legal.

Definately keep it though because once it does become legal it'll be less work for all involved.
