The sun is in one of its hottest cycles ever, which in turn is causing global warming on all planets including mars I say we send Al Gore to go document this attrocity which is obviousely Bush's fault. I mean if the US had signed the Kyoto protocol and those damn republicans would stop driving those Hummers the Co2 wouldnt have escaped earth and warmed the sun enough to destroy all the planets.

Great going Bush! Now your responsible for all the planets when sea levels rise by 20 feet in the next 100 years.

Although this is obviousely a joke statement for those hwo don't believe me seriousely though google it all the other planet s are experiencing warming trend. Obviousely if Co2 in any way causes global warming than huans play a role in that, however I believe it is 7% or less at best. This is a significant number but I dont think we should bend over and f|_|ck the world economy by imposing a bunch of crazy restrictions at this point yet because untill scientists are unanymouse (or at least enough to where most of them are) and are using aa little more solid evidence than we should jsut wait it out. I mean they cant even tell the weather a week from now accurately, and your trusting them to decide the wheather weather in 100 years? Cummon people.

I live in central Alaska, and while I certainly don't deny our climate is changing, I don't buy the hype at all. Of course, that's because I'm old enough to remember in the 70s, when we were all DOOMED because of the next big Ice Age.

Last year, we had the coldest January in 35 years, and our yearly mean average temp was LOWER than normal in 2006. This year, we've had the coldest Feb in 100 years, and March isn't off of a great start! I think Al Gore should have to come up here and stand outside in his undies at -45 and *then* tell me about global warming.

Warming is occurring on some planets and moons interior the image voltaic device. yet then, coolling is occurring on others. in actuality, there is cooling on greater image voltaic bodies than there is warming. Pluto has warmed simply by a quadrupling of it somewhat is atmospheric rigidity interior the final 13 years. once you improve rigidity temps additionally improve. No-one knows for specific why this has got here approximately in spite of if it has. The solar isn't the reason for international warming. If it have been then there could be a image voltaic consistent linking each and all the planets and moons - there isn't. greater advantageous, the solar's output (TSI or entire image voltaic Irradiance) has decreased in modern-day an prolonged time. Granted, it somewhat is not decreased by using plenty in spite of if it somewhat is a decrease each and each of an identical. The British court docket did not end that Al Gore had lied. in actuality, the intense court docket brushed aside the plaintiffs case and ruled that the technological know-how of the action picture replaced into surely terrific suited. The court docket ruled that the action picture could desire to be shown in British faculties (the plaintiff's action replaced into to seek for a ban) yet that it replaced into to be accompanied by using an explanatory leaflet explaining the 'different facet' of the argument as a manner to not reason political indoctrination. i come across your final sentence very unusual certainly thinking the point of lack of understanding you have displayed. might I advise which you go and discover the reality for your self.

Well, I suppose we should just disregard the opinions of the world’s leading scientists regarding human contributions to global warming and bow to your marvelous wit. That makes a lot of sense. The scientists say that while a component of recent global warming may have been caused by the increased solar activity of the last solar cycle, that component was very small compared to the effects of additional greenhouse gases. Judging from your grammar I know you don’t have any credentials so I suppose the wise thing to do would be to believe the scientists.

Don't you realize mother nature would never do anything to hurt us!!!!

Mother nature is our friend...

She never causes earthquakes, forest fires, ice ages, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms, flooding, heat waves, cold snaps, landslides or droughts....

All those things are caused by mean old Mr. Bush and his mean old Republicans... They must have a time machine that takes them back in to history so they can cause all those mean old, not mother nature's fault at all, disasters.

She loves us... so lets give her a big old hug and blame republicans... they are the evil ones...

Lets forget that the sun caused global cooling in the 70's because the energy being released was at a low point. lets forget that we just exited a mini ice age little over 200 years ago and the temperatures have gradually risen since then. Lets forget that the planet it's self is the biggest producer of "green house gasses" and that the actual % of man made gasses vs. natural ones is infinitesimally small.

No! lets stand up for mother nature and blame Mr. Bush... that's what the planet would want us to do.

The extra carbon dioxide produced by humans may be a secondary, or tertiary cause of warmer than average global temperatures; however, the increased solar radiation received by the earth is the main cause. Research appears to show that the increased solar actively has reached it zenith and is about to start decreasing, which will cause global temperatures to cool to "normal" ranges. Of course, the waxing and waning of the increased solar actively is the real norm; therefore, the increasing and decreasing global temperature ranges over the centuries in not abnormal.

And goldenrae9 if you are looking for links that prove the sun is the main cause of global warming on earth and the other 8 planets here you are:

Who, in hell, blamed Global warming on Bush?

"The physicists said that their findings indicate that climate models of global warming need to be corrected for the effects of changes in solar activity. However, they emphasized that their findings do not argue against the basic theory that significant global warming is occurring because of carbon dioxide and other “greenhouse” gases."

The above is part of Duke Universaty finding the questioner decided to leave out.

http://www.dukenews.duke.edu/2005/09/sunwarm.html

"Yellow G-Class stars, like our sun, get warmer as they age... This is nothing surprising.

Keep in mind that the Earth's mean temperature has remained relatively constant over geologic time even though the sun has increased the amount of energy it releases in our general direction by over 25% since the advent of living systems on Earth.

Life, the aggregation of the physical and chemical processes directly associated with the business of living on planet Earth, specifically, is chiefly responsible for maintaining a habitable global mean temperature in the face of solar-based perturbation (as well as many others that come from Earth itself on a regular, ceaseless basis).

When external perturbation exceeds the homeostatic capabilities of our planet's biological regulatory systems, when negative feedback loops become amplification systems (adding fuel to the fire instead of water...), the Earth will begin a steady march to becoming a planet like Venus...

Yes. The sun gets hotter as it ages. This fact should always be a part of any model that attempts to predict planetary climate variation and evolution. Fact is, we are building a very reliable gas shield that will trap heat on the surface which will amplify the warming of Earth's surface to the extent that we may very well all die . The sun will only add fuel to the fire.

Things look pretty grim, theoretically. Don't fool yourselves. Global Warming is real and you can't blame it on the sun. If we do not act immediately and on an unprecidented global scale, then we are doomed."

Unless you are of another species, you have very likely not been to Mars. No humans have been there to discharge CO2 and other greenhouse gasses. Since CO2 is a product of combustion which is how humans are producing it on Earth, human scientists say there is not enough Mars atmospheric oxygen to support combustion on Mars. But I would be the first to support a ONE WAY trip for Dictator Dumbya there to prove that.

Of course it's hotter on Mars. That was the purpose of the NASA mission there - to raise the temperature on Mars so to fool people on Earth that global warming is a product of solar activity rather than being man-made. It is all because of evil Bush and his henchman "Renfield" Cheney, in their plot to take over the world. Hahahahaha!

But now we know and can stop them. Send in Danger Mouse and Secret Squirrel to stop them!

Sure, you bet.

All these years scientists have been fooled into thinking that global warming was caused by CO2 emissions. They never took the Sun's cycles into account.

Wow they really missed that one!!!

Global Warming is real, temporary Solar phases have always happened and will continue to do so. We only have a little bit of data on Mars climate for a short period of time, so to say that its warming over any period is silly.

You're like the guys who talked about the snowstorm in Washington a couple of months ago and declared Global Warming to be over b/c it snowed in D.C in February.

Genius!!

Yes the sun is part of global warming. But even Bush agrees with the science that humans are also contributing to global warming on earth.
