My boyfriend is 38 and he lets his 17 year old STEP daughter sleep in the bed with him. Am I over-reacting or is this NOT OK????

There is something definately not right. I'd talk to him and ask him whats up because she is seventeen and should be sleeping in her own bed. She's also growing into a young woman, and it is his step daughter, so you never know what could be going on there. She could have mistaken her feelings for him as being sexual?

Why would you possably think that this was okay?
It is never okay for a young adult to be sleeping in a parent or stepparents bed.
I don't know why you keep overemphasizing the STEP part, it is still not right...where is this girls mother????

that's just odd. i dont know a 17 year old that would want to sleep in the same bed with their step father unless they were after something, or were being forced too

I would think it would be reason for concern.
What really catches my attention is that it is your boyfriend, is he married to his step-daughters mother?
If they are not still married than that raises even more concern. why is she staying overnight at his house to begin with, much less sleeping in his bed?
And if he is still married to her mother, you need to get a different boyfriend.

You have to keep in my mind there not blood so therefore anything can go between them so you should put a serious stop to this now or you'll end up finding them one day in bed fu*king and it surely be over then.
