People can ask homework related questions and other people can answer them on this site. Sometimes people don't always understand a teacher's explanation and need to ask others who may be able to give better answers and explanations. But, I would agree that a lot of people just ask for the answers and nothing more.

i think that if they want to go ahead and ask for help and try to get a response quickly then why not? its not like their teachers are sitting next to them while they are doing it. Most of the time homework has to be passed in BEFORE class starts leaving little or no time for help on a problem. Fortunately there are alot of smart people who are an internet connection away.

Lots of kids are just too stupid or lazy to do their own homework or research.

Why write a report when you can post a vague request online and go play with your Wii while you wait for a response?

Personally, I find it pathetic, and anticipate much wailing and gnashing of teeth when these little morons get into the real world and learn shenanigans like that get you fired.

Kids are pathetic, that's for sure. There's two people involved in the learning process, the teacher and the student. The student needs to contribute by putting in the effort and also by finding ways to make the subject interesting to them. Too many want to just lay it on someone else.

Ok, let me call up my teacher at their home phone number, at 6:00 PM. If I had questions at school I would ask. But they reallly shouldn't upload like all of the problems and expect them to be answered. I would understand like one sample problem.

Because they're hoping for an easy way out, little do they know that they're just getting a bunch of wrong answers from here!

Well, I think that it's fine considering this is an answering website and people are asking questions.

because it is much easier to post it and wait for an answer. Maybe if answers was around when we were in school, maybe we would have too.
