there is this kid i know and she is a total
be-otch! she has the biggest attitude ever!!
and she thinks she's all that! she gives everyone
dirty looks and no one likes her. she needs to
be put in her place! but how? is my question!

The way she treats everyone will eventually come back to her in some way. You don't want to go down to her level. Just hang back and keep your chin up. Ignore her.

Sounds like she needs a friend. A true friend. If you can't be that, you are not required to be around her. Avoid her, but be as pleasant as you can be when you are forced into social or academic settings together.
Putting her in her place? What is her place? Unless you are in a position to ascertain that place AND place her there, it's out of your hands.
Change your attitude also, as you can't change her.

life will put her in her place.There are many people like that out there and can only get that far for being that way.I wouldn't personally go to her level and do something about it, instead ignore her and don't let that bother you, let her be miserable on her own.

i will say ...people are different from each other and behave differently..but my advise for you is to call her and tell her what you think about how she behaves, cos she can only be corrected if she is confronted about what she has done...let her know she has done everything wrong..."the faster she changed the better it would be"..
