I work for a corporation that is equally owned by 2 people. One of my employers said I was fired and the other said I was not(there divorced and trying to split the business at the moment.) Now he is refusing to pay me becuase he said I was fired. What should I do?

First of all this is a partnership and not a corporation. It would really depend on how their partnership is set up. If the partnership requires both owners consent to fire employees, then you should still have a job.

Personally, I would get AS FAR AWAY from this business as possible and find a new job. There is no way this can turn out for the better if the owners are using their business as another front in their personal divorce battle.

Depending on what state you live in, there may be a due process and "severance" for example. As well as COBRA coverage if you had insurance. You should contact your state's department of labor to discuss the issues.

Probably depends on the corporate policies. But if you continued to work with their knowledge, they probably owe you. I'd check with your state's EEO office.
