Depends on the size of the breasts, which is why there is such a huge array of sizes on the market. Personally, I'm a 36C.

Measure around the chest, just below the breasts. That size, in inches is the numeric part. Now measure over the breasts at the maximum point, and take the difference. For an inch or less, it's an A, for each additional inch, go up one letter.

WHY?
If you haven't noticed every woman has different sized breasts....therefore it depends on the size of their breasts.
I use 34B an average size in north american women.

It depends all women are different. Some are small, some are big, some are in between. Oh right now I'm a 34C, but I'm pregnant, so it's bigger then normal.
