i have a cold i guess.. i keep sneezing... i have a runny nose and im tired and dizzy...also the edges of my nostrals hurt from blowin my nose..i am taking cold medicine to help because i am away at college..my spring break starts tomorrow and i go home i want to feel better for it! what can i do??

This could be more than a common cold. The sneezing could indicate allergies which could then induce a common cold. The best thing to do right now is drink lots of WATER, try benadryl non-drowsy this will help with the symptoms, and you could also try astragalus root or Zycam (all of which are otc).

It is most definitely allergies.I know after 55+
an allergy problem when ,I hear your symptoms,
an their like a lot of my friends and family are going through.Try some otc allergy medications.
Ask the Pharmaceutics on hand.Describe your
symptoms of this long lasting cold.I am sure you will see that's what you have.

get rid of a cold in one day - stop taking the cold medicine and take
echinacea - 2 capsules every hour...
hot liquids drink lots of water hot and tea- red raspberry leaf is best since it is antiviral
- no dairy or sugar
take extra vit c 5000-7000 mgs- or lots of orange juice

you should not take echinacea if you have autoimmune diseases

Ok. drink lots of fluids sneeze it out. Take the medicane for the time it says. If it doesn't work go see your doctor. Or try this stuff called Vicks vapor rub. Rub it on your chest that should help a lot.

Oh no not the dreaded cold. I guess you should drink orange juice and water. Try to get alot of sleep. Even though you feel sick , excercise any way. Even if it is just a little bit of walking. Good luck to ya.

Your looking for a quick fix? Sorry but it doesn't exist. Fluids, herbs, and sleep are your best remedy. Find something that relieves the runny nose so you can sleep.

drink lots and lots of orange juice and take Alka Seltzer Cold Plus, you'll feel a lot better. Sleep.....

Fore the sore skin around your nostrils you could use tissue paper soaked in eucalyptus oil instead of plain tissue paper to blow your nose. Dispose of tissue paper after each use.
