Yes. When I was nineteen, my father helped me move out because my mother and I were on the verge of beating the snot out of each other. I HATED the wench with passion.

Still don't like having her in my home, because all she does is criticize my decor and my housekeeping. It's MY space, dammit.

Plus, anyone who thinks parents always love their kids unconditionally and ALWAYS want what's best for them is very lucky, and very naive. My mother never wanted to see me get the best of anything, even if I worked my **** off to get it. I succeeded in life in spite of her.

i don't get it? what did they do? are they really that bad? how old are you? it might seem horrible now but its really not that bad! (i'm 15 btw) i can understand if they're abusive, or something like that. but if they won't let you go to a party, or they won't let you stay out past 10:30 thats nothing to hate them for! don't get worked up over something that you'll probably be over in about 2 days anyway! you need your parents! moving out is worse!!!!! you think you'll be able to do what you want and live freely and be happier? well sadly NO then you'll have even more people telling you what to do! bill collectors, tax evasion, bosses, landlords! the whole nine yards!!!!! and you'll be wondering "what did i do with my childhood, or teenage years?" and you're gonna look back at this question and wish you had never typed it! because you're gonna realize that their rules really weren't that bad in the first place!!!!! so unless its some big major problem, and not that they won't let you go to the mall, or they took your ipod away, let it go! =]

If you do...you'll regret it later. Parents love you unconditionally, and they just want what is best for you. Talk to them about how you feel. It's better than resenting each other.
