All of Duran Duran (if you were a Duranie)
Faith No More - Epic (although i think that was closer to the 90s)
Prince tunes - Darling Nikki, Kiss, Cream
Lionel Richie love songs - penny lover, say you say me
Men At Work - It's a mistake
Morris Day and the Time - The Bird and Jungle Love
Cameo - Word Up
Nelson Brothers (OMG!) - I can't live without your love
JJ Fad - Supersonic
Then you have all of the big hair bands - Poison, Ratt, Dead or Alive, Bon Jovi - take your pick
Sonic Youth - Pass the Dutchie
The Jets - Crush on you
Yes - Owner of a lonely Heart

Really - i could go on forever! Oh to be back in the 80 s hahahahahahahahahaha

BTO - Taking Care of Business....released 1981 (it's barely 80's).

Or..

Cinderella - Coming Home.....they are the best "classic" 80's group! You should check them out if you don't already know of them.

silent running by mike + the mechanics
blue monday by new order

policy of truth by depeche mode
ordinary world by duran duran
everybody wants to rule the world by tears for fears
every breath you take by the police

Since no one has said it, I will mention one of the greatest video-songs of all time: A-ha's "Take on Me." Got the synthy backgrounds, the crazy falsetto, and the comic drawing/real life switches. Oh yeah.

And the advent of computer animation-video -- "Money for Nothin'." That's the way you do it.
